Jack-o-lantern Toss

Using jack-o-lantern buckets and styrofoam balls (painted orange), encourage the children to toss the balls into the jack-o-lantern bucket one at a time.

Batty Over Halloween

Have the children paint a giant yellow circle for the moon.  Cut out bat shapes and encourage them to draw faces on their bats using white chalk.

Go Away Big Green Monsters

With my older preschoolers, I usually do a day on Monsters.  We talk about how monsters are NOT real. The kids make up "monster" stories and we read the book "Go Away Big Green Monster" by Ed Emberley.  Afterwards, we create these monsters.  I precut all the pcs. beforehand.

Frankenstein Pudding Cups

  
Here are some yummy Frankenstein pudding cups I made for a Halloween party.  I drew Frankenstein faces on clear cups with a sharpie. Then added  vanilla pudding tinted with green food coloring with Oreos crushed on top. I made the bald Frankenstein in the back for myself. If you are making these for preschoolers, you might want to use smaller cup sizes than I used. Mine were clear Solo 9 oz. cups... and that takes a lot of pudding to fill each cup.  Also, be sure to draw your faces lower than mine in the pic so you won't have to add the Oreo cookie hair at the very tip top... would be less messy for the little ones.
